Destinations

A destination is a place a notification lands. Everything goes to every active destination unless a source or a watch names a subset. Up to 20 per account.

Phone
Signs in, and is a destination from then on. Named after the device; renameable. Every plan, and the trial.
Browser
Allow notifications in the web app, on the You tab, and that browser receives pushes with the tab closed. Every plan, and the trial.
Email
An address, confirmed by a link that works for 24 hours. One address on Send, three on Watch. Subject is the title; Break through adds Now:; one link opens the notification, one mutes the source for an hour.
Slack
Sign in to a workspace and pick a channel. Up to three channels. A header, the body and one link; Break through adds @here.
Webhook
A URL you own, on the Watch plan. Every notification as a signed POST; see Webhooks.

Silent notifications reach the inbox only: no destination outside the app ever sees one. Reading a notification on any destination reads it everywhere and clears it from every phone's lock screen.

Deliver to

A source or a watch can name the destinations it goes to, from a checklist that needs at least one. It is an override, never a step: creating a source stays two fields, and "All destinations" includes the ones you add later.

Pausing

Any destination can be paused from its switch, for one of four lengths. A paused destination keeps the inbox in sync and receives nothing until it resumes.

What a destination sees

Its page lists what reaches it: every source and watch, or the ones that name it. A confirmed email address, a Slack channel and a webhook each show their last delivery and, for a webhook, the last status and how many failed in a row.
