A notification when an endpoint stops returning 200
One sentence, checked every minute, from our side. No agent to install, nothing to host, and the notification carries the source's rules like any other.
1 · Type the sentence
In the Watches tab of the app or of app.youlmk.com, or through the MCP watch tool:
YouLMK reads it back as target, condition, interval and delivery before it runs (Understood as), every line editable: api.example.com/health · stops returning 200 · every 1 min · Banner · keep watching. The first check runs at once.
2 · What it can check
A private endpoint takes one header (name and value) under the address, stored encrypted and never shown again. Intervals are 1 min, 5 min, 15 min, 1 hour or once a day; endpoints default to 1 min on the Watch plan and run hourly on the trial. Fair use is 100,000 checks a month across all watches (two watches at every minute, or twenty at every 15 minutes); past it, the fastest watches step down to hourly until the month resets.
3 · What arrives
A card with the eyebrow WATCH · api.example.com, the sentence as the title, and before and after in the body with how long the target had been unchanged. Two actions: open the page, pause the watch. It goes to every destination you have, or to the ones the watch names: a phone, the browser, an email address, a Slack channel, a signed webhook to your own API (Destinations).
Down at 3am and you want to be woken: say so in the sentence ("wake me if api.example.com/health goes down") and the watch is set to Break through; otherwise it respects quiet hours and arrives with the morning summary.
Status pages
A vendor's status page is its own watch type: "tell me when AWS reports an incident", or a named component degrading, checked every minute. Eight vendors are known by name (openai, anthropic, aws, vercel, github, stripe, cloudflare, supabase); any other status page works by its address.
How a watch stops
Three unreachable checks in a row, or a 403 or a bot challenge at once, move a watch to Needs attention with one Banner and no further checks until you point it again, so a dead target never becomes a stream of alerts. "Check now" runs one check a minute at most.
